Final Public Consultation

The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) that Natural England required to support the submission of the NDP for Final public Consultation and Independent Inspection was completed along with recommended minor changes to the NDP in October 2015.

The SEA, revised NDP and revised Consultation Statement were submitted to Cornwall Council mid October2015. The NDP process requires the Council to manage the mandatory Final Public Consultation, Independent Examination and Referendum.

Cornwall Council has advised that the NDP has been cleared by their Finance and Legal Departments and signed off for Public Consultation. The Consultation period is for seven weeks starting from Thursday 17th December 2015 to Thursday 4th February 2016. This is extended from the normal six weeks to allow for Christmas break.

Cornwall Council have advertised the consultation in the Cornish Guardian and placed a copy of the consultation documentation in the One Stop Shop in Wadebridge Library,  and locations in the St Minver Parishes. They have also made the documentation available on the Cornwall Council Planning website under Planning Application PA15/00026/NDP at

The St Minver Parishes NDP Steering Group believes that Local People should be more informed about this consultation and the further opportunity for comment on the NDP. Consequently the Consultation Documentation is available on this website as follows:-
